LOUISVILLE, Colo. – October 4, 2012 – Zayo Group announces that it has been recognized as Colorado’s Top Telecom Company in 2012 by ColoradoBiz Magazine. After being selected as a top-three finalist in early August, Zayo was chosen as the winner of the Telecom category at the Top Company Awards celebration on September 12. Several Zayo employees were in attendance to accept the award.

Each firm was judged on three criteria: financial performance, community involvement and outstanding achievement in areas such as product innovation, operational excellence or marketing effectiveness. Zayo was awarded the top telecom company due to its track record of continual financial and network growth and notable achievements in each of the judging areas.
