Rio de Janeiro, 19 de janeiro de 2011: Os vencedores do prestigioso MEF (Metro Ethernet Forum) Carrier Ethernet CALA Service Provider Awards foram anunciados em um jantar de apresentação no restaurante de rodízios “Porcão Ipanema”, Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. Conhecida como uma celebração de excelência e liderança no desenvolvimento, comercialização e prestação de serviços de Carrier Ethernet, estes prêmios são apresentados anualmente na América do Norte, Ásia-Pacífico, Europa, Oriente Médio e África (EMEA), América Central e Latina (CALA) e regiões globais.
Os prêmios incluem cinco categorias específicas para incentivar a mais ampla gama de concorrentes, independente do tamanho ou área de cobertura. O trabalho de julgamento foi realizado por analistas seniores da Heavy Reading, IDC, Infonetics, Ovum e Pyramid Research.
O “Best Business Ethernet Service" abrange serviços de varejo e empresarial, tendo em conta a base do cliente, a proposição de valor, o valor agregado e o apoio ao estudo de caso. Entre os finalistas - Internexa, Level 3 e Verizon Business - o prêmio foi para o forte portfólio de serviços de metro e de longa distância através de uma rede end-to-end de fibra óptica da Level 3.
