In conjunction with the MEF, the Ethernet Academy has been established as the site for Peer-Reviewed publications to deliver high quality technical, business and solution papers on the topic of Carrier Ethernet.  The first of it kind in the industry, the site is a dedicated community of experts sharing Carrier Ethernet knowledge and publishing new ideas.

The Peer Review Process

The following is a brief overview of the peer review cycle established by the Ethernet Academy and Metro Ethernet Forum.

Any submitted paper for publication is subject to following process:

  1. Editor-in-Chief reviews the paper first to decide to send whether back to author for a rewrite first or onto a selected group for peer-review.
  2. The Peer-reviewed paper is either ready for publication or returned to author for a re-write.
  3. The Process continues until the paper is ready for publication.
  4. Peer Reviewers remain anonymous, only known to the Editor-in-Chief.  However, it is possible for authors to request papers to be reviewed by a different group of reviewers, upon return of the paper in question.

The Peer Review process is a fundamental requirement in the professional journal community. The process utilized by this online publication is proven and maintains the highest quality standards for excellence in journalistic review and industry publication
